DIY by Wendy Bellissimo

I am renovating my daughter´s room.
shes is growing..she is no longer mums little baby anymore..
(even if I think she is..)
anyway, all I had to transform in her little girl design into a big-girl room , was remove here small bed and furniture and pop a beautiful bunk bed..
Inspiration do I get from various favorite interior magazines
the picture below is from the book
*Nesting* by Wendy Bellissimo

beutiful girl bed from the NESTING by Wendy Bellissimo

Here is my daughter Sophies room, as it looks like right now..
I will reshuffling and enhance the color of green and goldbrown
She is with me in this and paint and select textile.
I think it is importend to listen to the childs own ideas, they love to decorate,
and they often have very good ideas.

The flags are from Shabby Chic stor no 1, Rachell Aswell, and they will stay in the room :)
In the beginning all this furniture were clean wood in pine when they were used in big brother Philips boy room.

She will still have her beautiful Pink kitchen in her room...
I do agree with her, the kitchen is just adorable..who dosen´t want to play there?
Inspiration picture from POTTERY BARN

The process..We will build in the bed where we put liitle curtains so Sophie can draw on,
a *roof* should also be there with lighting lika a starry sky

just say yes
some good advice from wendy bellissimo
You cant always say yes, but use the word *no* sparingly. Negativity aside, opposing your child´s will without fair and honest explanation will undemine your bond and dimish their self-confidence. However young they may be,always give your children the opportunity to understand-they will respect you for it and trust themselves to do right thing next time.

Görvälns Slott- Princess Castle

Would you like to sleep like a princess?
Görvälns Castle in Sweden is the place to be.
Every room has their own charctar and the creativity is admirable.
all furniture/interior design is made by the owner of this dreamy hotel from the 1600´s

This silverbed is the most photographed room at the hotel
darling princess room nr 31
When the owner created this room they wanted to keep the feeling of the 1600th and the rough nature walls, combinated with gilded furniture and ostrich feathers.

I think the they did extremely well.

Florentine room nr 32

Before & After
room nr 29
Here are great pictures how the owners of Görvälns
has created Dreamrooms for their hotelguest
This is the lates renovated room wich had the theme of animals,
before it was a laundry room..
Take a look at the luscious rokokochair that has fabric of goat.

Vintage elegance style?

I love the combination of old and new interior
..and this room..to die for ;)

I think it is almost impossible to create a peaceful atmosphere if you do not mix old and new.
These pictures it shows a perfect example of vVinage elegance with the perfect balance.

I wish I knew how the house looks, the optimal housing is the to see the think  the *big picture*,
I think it is important that the building's inner style match with the outside environment.

Beach House in Florida

At WaterColor in Florida, a pastel beach house sports Bahamas shutters and metal roof.
It is the color of the water that so fascinated both interior designers Toby West and his clients at this Florida Cottage on the Gulf of Mexico.
When they chose the color everyone was against it...
But they was sure indeed.
Toby wanted to do something different, to shake it up...
(The colors is more mint -green IRL, this scanned pictures make them more soft..)
This both pictures is from the entrance area.

Master bedroom, canopy and drapers in Colefax and Flower fabrics, using plaid from Cowtan & Tout with shell trim from Travis & Company. Custom linens through Toby West Interiors. Mainly baskets bedsides tables wicker chairs and bench
This livingroom picture is just sooooo beautiful.
When you se this picture, you understand why Toby West was so sure about the color.
..But im curious..
Could you live in a house where almost everything is GREEN?
I guess we all could live by the sea..thats for sure..but the color?
The house is like living in a icecream..cool, soft and delicious

Vintage Bedroom or Metropolitan Elegance

Metropolitan Elegance
-Storstadselegans-
That was this pictures title in 1998
Today we call it Vintage

from a book called "the ultimate interior book"by judy spours

These muted neutral color gives a wonderful harmony and creat a sophisticated guiet in the citylife  Almost all our color in our City apartment is in these tones,as in the picture they interact in subtle different fabrics that is both inviting and soothing.

Mode magasinet jag har väntat på
Style By Elin Kling
Jag är Imponerad !! GRATTIS till Elin Kling med Team

Finally, its here the fashion magazine I've been waiting for
Style by- Elin Kling

Jag tycker att Elin Klings framgångar är en riktig Framgångsaga, hennes Passion för mode
fick hennes blogg att växa till Sveriges största modesajt..imponerande..

I am impressed with this young lady, who began blogging about her passion for fashion for a few years ago, that became one of the largest in Sweden, now she has her own magazine, which is perfect with the content of everything you need to know and want to know in fashion, with a personal touch. If you dont have the possibility to buy the magazine take a look at webb style by

Hennes samarbete med H&M är som grädde på moset där hennes kompetens bevisar
att hon kan mode
sen får kritiker säga va de vill..men mitt mode hjärta har hon vunnit..

That she is this year's H&M guest designer proves that her brand is strong and I think personally she also shows skills as a fashion designer..so Classic, trendy and cool with perfect details at the same time..
perfect for this page Classic Style
