This weekend was my 20 year high school reunion. I really find it hard to believe that it has been that long since I graduated. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go or not, but, in the end, my curiosity got the better of me.
It's been a long time since I've seen anyone from high school because the hubby and I have been living out of state for the past 7 years. So it was all a bit surreal. I must admit, however, that most of my classmates have aged really well. I hope that I look as young as most of them. ;-)

I'm glad I got a chance to visit with some of my oldest friends (and by oldest, I mean those I've known the longest) and catch up on their lives, their kids, their careers. It was a bit unnerving though. People I knew so well, who are now more like acquaintances. Kind of nostalgic, but a little sad too.

On a lighter note, I love my kickin' shoes from TJMaxx. They made the whole night worth it. (Yeah, I'm deep like that.) I'm thinking I might skip out on the 30th reunion, however. I guess it remains to be seen whether my curiosity gets the better of me...again.
Did you attend your high school reunion? Do you plan to?
Have a great day~
