(please forgive the grainy photos...basement room+cloudy day=really low light)
I have been slowly working on my home office. It is getting there a little bit at a time, piece by piece. This weekend, I finally finished some throw pillows for the big overstuffed chair that used to be in our living room....but now graces the "gallery" wall in the office.
I had originally planned to use white wooden frames for the wall....but as you can see from the photo, there are two really ugly, really black air vents on the wall...and I thought that using frames would only serve to draw more attention to the vents. The Dignitet system, however, puts all the photos at the same level and although the vents are still obvious, they aren't part of the display. (Does anyone have a brilliant idea on how to camouflage those darn things without blocking airflow - and we can't paint them 'cause this is a rental house?)
I printed the photos on printable canvas from Office Depot, so they hang nice and straight without curling the way paper can. And the great thing is that the photos can be swapped easily without having to undo frames!

The office is really coming together...now to accessorize! I'll share the process with you as I go!
The hubby's parents arrive from Massachusetts today and will be staying at our house for the next few days...so excited to have them!
Have a great day~
