We recently got the Atlas America Insurance with 0 deductible and got two visits done for my father(chest infection). Got antibiotics prescribed, blood test done, physical checkup done. Went very smooth, no payments at all.
Said that, someone who has tested a Emergency visit or a Specialist visit or an Intensive care visit should be able to give us a better idea of who fares better.
Till date, other then a PCPs visit, I have not heard any good reviews for any insurance cos(agents).
And then there are so many agents/sub-agents floating around, that even the genuine ones dont seem so genuine.
We should have a AM/S&P kinda rating system for Visitors insurance.

There are many discussions on immigration (some in favor and some totally misrepresenting the legal immigration).Mind you many of the ordinary citizens are voting on these posts, which indicate the popularity. Obviously this is one way of increasing the popularity of posts highlighting our case (ala Digg)
Only a few of the immigration posts are addressing our pain points. One eg is something like: Please help the Immigration System

Couple of my friends, who have 3 year degrees from India and also have 2 year Masters degree from India, have not been able to apply for EB2. Their lawyers suggested that 3 year degree are a hindernace to get EB2. They both have not tried applying for EB2 and both have active EB3 applications.
My M.C.A was 3 years. this will help?

I have a labor certification approved in my name. Does all this mean that if this new law gets approved and I have not yet filed for I-140 I lose my labor and the possibility to file for I-140? Or would I still be able to file ? I am confused.:confused:

does kaiser provide insurance for visitors?
I am also shopping for my parent's insurance coming to US next month. I found the coverage by TATA AIG better than ICICI. The HMO plans for Kaiser is also good but expensive. United Health care does not provide insurance if the applicant doesn't have SSN.

I read about your intense desire for GC and was thinking to myself... is GC something that someone has to be so very obsessed about? But after reading about your ordeal on this thread, I am starting to see why this is such a joyful time you in you life. Congrats!!! This is a standing testimonial of the kind of negative impact this broken, fu**ed up immigration system brings to the life of individuals. Core IV team, I think we should package this person's story and use it as an example of how bad things can get in this system and publicize this incident. Maybe mail his story to all the incoming senators and house reps and make them see the kind of shit every single person undergoes in this system. This almost makes Abu Gharib prison system look like a Christmas fete ... atleast they KNOW the kind of crap they will have to endure each day. With the US immigration system, you never know what they will hit you with next.

Not all professions can apply for H1Bs. You need to have specific skills that the US does NOT have. Someone on here had once posted that his wife could not work as a teacher although the school was ready to offer her a job, coz there is no H1B category for teachers. The H1B visa cannot help spouses in all professions. Hence my suggestion.
About how this will solve retrogression, IT WONT. My point is instead of trying to bring this retrogression beast down, maybe we should look at alternatives to work around it.

Doesnt consulting clause remove most of the Indian companies from the picture anyways?
May be US corporations can tactically support this bill because this bill will impact Indian bodyshoppers severly. For past 5 years US companies could not compete with Indian companies as they have more leverage on H1b. Now if Indian companies avoid H1b US companies can get any time they want as they can satisfy most of conditions

I totally agree with you on this hypocrite Lou Dobbs and also admire your determination and sticking to your views. I too belive that we can make a change if we are determined. I have written my views to the radio station eventhough I don't listen to that channel as I live somewhere far. I hate to side track the issue but I couldn't control my self to accept that Alexander was great( that apprears in your posts) I stongly belive that he was not great but was a coward (I came to conclusion after reviewing the history)

I initiated the transfer on 19th and they delivered it today i.e 3 working days after (which is two days less than there norms). Also the rate is 43.35 today as per the calculator and they show a rate of 43.01 for my transfer. ICICI is a known thief. That is how the company is made. Its like "there is a CRIme after every successful company".
Can you believe these ICICI crooks remitted the money on saturday? They gave only 42.90 for saturday. For today its 43.01. Stealing close to 30 to 40 paise per dollar.
These are the same people who send gundas to collect money(debt) from their clients.

After consultation I was suggested that I needed an expert opinion letter from an Independent CPA telling that company can pay me the salary stated in the ALC. Now I need a CPA who can analyze the financials of the company and a lawyer who can write the letter to defend this case. I was wondering if anyone here can provide the service for CPA analyzation or sample letter on how to address this issue.
